On to South Florida - Hobe Sound

Today was an all I-95 run. We normally avoid interstates but there is really no alternative that will get us into Key West on the 8th. Will say that we've been very surprised at the great condition of 95 since we got on north of Savannah. Traffic was reasonable and pavement pretty smooth. Took us about 6 hours.

We staying for 2 nights at Hobe Sound Florida, right on the border with West Palm Beach. Definitely a high rent district! We went to Publix and were surrounded by Porches, BMWs, Mercedes, etc. Publix was nice.

But in all this elegance was a fantastic campground: Jonathon Dickinson State Park LINK. About $28 full hookups!! A huge park with guided trails etc. Huge sites with lots of privacy. We're going to considering adding this to our snowbird itinerary...but we need to make reservations a year ahead!

They rake a pattern in the gravel after a site empties!

We didn't tour the area this time, just the huge grounds and visitors center area. A great 2 nights!
